The movie starts with two intense scenes, one where a gang of criminals attacks a government official’s house and another with a scary hyena attack in a Himachal Pradesh town. These scenes are full of action and the main character, Parthiban runs a coffee shop in Theog and seems to have a peaceful life with his wife Sathya and two children. But when dangerous gangsters threaten his daughter and an employee, Parthiban decides to take matters into his own hands. This sets off a chain of events that drives the story forward.
The movie shows the consequences of violence and the psychology of a person pushed to their limits. While it takes some liberties with the story in the second half, it keeps the audience engaged with action scenes and references to characters and situations from Kanagaraj’s previous films. The unique style of the director and Vijay’s strong presence on screen is a major driving force in the film.
