The fourth 4848 Festival is once again providing festival and music lovers with an advanced summer experience as an alternative to the traditional campout festival. From July 13 to July 15, 2023, the 4848 Festival will return to Snowshoe Mountain Resort in Snowshoe, West Virginia. 3 days and 3 nights, 2 main stages, 32+ hours of live music, 20+ genre-busting bands, crowd performers, craft beer, delectable food, and genuine craft vendors are all included in the 4848 Festival. Along with Shaver’s Lake and activities like swimming, paddleboarding, and kayaking, as well as hiking trails, beaches, and lakeside hammocks, it also features Split Rock Pools, euro bungee, climbing walls, scenic ski lift rides, and other attractions.

With 4848 feet above sea level, Snowshoe is West Virginia’s second-highest point and spans 11,000 acres in the Appalachian Mountains. The best ski resort in the area, Snowshoe Mountain Resort, also offers a fantastic summertime outdoor playground for “festivacation”. There are studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom lodging options available, some of which have balconies that look out onto the festival stage.
