Deepika Padukone is set to represent India on the international stage once more. The Bollywood actress will appear as a presenter at the Oscars in 2023. The actress also served on a jury at the Cannes Film Festival the previous year. The actress Deepika Padukone will be one of the presenters at the 95th Academy Award. Troy Kotsur, Jennifer Connelly, Samuel L. Jackson, Melissa McCarthy, Zoe Saldana, Donnie Yen, Jonathan Majors, and Questlove are among the other stars who will join Deepika on stage.

This is not the first time Deepika Padukone has been chosen to represent India on a global level. She unveiled the FIFA World Cup trophy in Lusail Stadium on December 18, 2022. Shortly before Argentina’s clash with France in that year’s final match.

The Oscars 2023 will take place at the Dolly Theatre in Los Angeles on March 12 (March 13 in India). This year is noteworthy for India because, besides Deepika Padukone serving as a presenter, three significant Indian films are competing for the prestigious Oscars Awards in 2023.
The dance song Naatu Naatu from RRR, which won the Golden Globe Award in the same category, was a nominee for Best Original Song. Guneet Monga’s “The Elephant Whisperers” was up for Best Documentary Short. Shaunak Sen’s “All That Breathes” was a nominee for Best Documentary Feature Film.

Deepika Padukone is shooting for (tentatively named) Project K, a science fiction film that also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas. The movie will probably hit theatres in January 2024.
